The Melbourne Regional Chamber of Commerce has an opening for a Membership Services Representative. In this sales role you will connect with the business community, presenting the benefits of Chamber membership and helping small and large businesses alike understand the value the Chamber will bring to their organizations. You will prospect, assist new members in joining the Chamber, contribute to Member retention and provide ongoing support to our Members. 

Key Requirements to be Successful:

​•  You must be able to cultivate strong relationships with prospects and Members alike
•  Possess a consultative sales style
•  Be sincere and honest
•  Knowledge of Brevard and surrounding Counties is helpful but not required
•  Motivated by helping others
•  Computer literate with some CRM experience preferred
•  Comfortable with public speaking
•  The ability to learn about and then explain programs and services offered by the Chamber
•  This position is about Service and a strong Customer Service background is required
​The Chamber of Commerce is a distinctive place to work, offering a unique career opportunity. We require hard work but have a lot of fun in the process. You will attend our signature events and business breakfasts, have the opportunity to act as liaison for one of our many councils or referral groups and be the “face” of the Chamber. You will be out and about in the community, networking and representing our team and our Members. This is a full-time salary (base pay) position.

​7 paid holidays/year, 5 paid vacation days/year to start (grows to 11 days/year with increased years of service), 4 paid personal days/year, large contribution toward health insurance, dental insurance & eye insurance paid in full for employee, a 401(k) retirement plan with an unheard of 8% matching, unlimited free coffee, and lots of free snacks and eats, as available.
